Sonshine Cove is an overnight camp for children AND adults with physical or developmental disabilities. Camps run 2 weekends a month, during march break and all summer long!
Our campers range from those that require full behavioral or medical care to campers that are fully independent.
Camps at Sonshine Cove foster an inclusive environment where all activities are made accessible and everyone can enjoy their time.
Sonshine provides a 3-on-1 staffing ratio for all campers which is includes in standard camp fees. Campers that require 1-on-1 care can be accommodated for an extra cost. See Cost Breakdown.
Sonshine Cove Weekend Camps
Our weekends begin on the Friday with a 5pm drop off at our Community Inclusion Centre in Orleans. Once everyone is checked in we provide transportation up to the camp where we run programing all weekend long. Meals, transportation and all activities are included in the camp fee. Camp ends with a 5pm arrival at our Community Inclusion Centre on Sunday.

Summer Camps
Summer camps consist of seven, 5 day camps and one, 10 day camp that occurs at the end of the summer. Our summer sessions begin on the Monday with an 8am drop off at our Community Inclusion Centre in Orleans. Once everyone is checked in we provide transportation up to the camp where we run programing all weekend long. Meals, transportation and all activities are included in the camp fee. Camp ends on Friday with a 5pm arrival at our Community Inclusion Centre.
Activities exclusive to our Summer Camps include;
- Boating (Pontoon, Speed boat, Kayak, Canoe, Paddle Boat) 🛥️🚣
- Tubing 🌊

- Outdoor Sports 🏀🎲
- & All other activities run at our weekend camps.
