Sonshine Cove is an overnight camp for children AND adults with physical or developmental disabilities. Camps run 2 weekends a month, during march break and all summer long!
Our campers range from those that require full behavioral or medical care to campers that are fully independent.

Camps at Sonshine Cove foster an inclusive environment where all activities are made accessible and everyone can enjoy their time.

Sonshine provides a 3-on-1 staffing ratio for all campers which is includes in standard camp fees. Campers that require 1-on-1 care can be accommodated for an extra cost. See Cost Breakdown under Camp Fees

Sonshine Cove Weekend Camps

Our weekends begin on Friday with a 5:00 pm drop off at our Community Inclusion Centre in Orleans. Once everyone is checked in, we provide transportation up to the camp where we run programing all weekend long. Meals, transportation and all activities are included in the camp fee. Camp concludes with a 5:00 p.m. arrival at our Community Inclusion Centre on Sunday.

Summer Camps

Summer camps consist of nine 5-day camps. Our summer sessions begin with an 8:00 a.m. drop-off at our Community Inclusion Centre in Orleans. Once everyone is checked in, we provide transportation up to the camp where we run programming all weekend long. Meals, transportation and all activities are included in the camp fee. Camp with a 5:00 pm arrival at our Community Inclusion Centre.
