Our Mission
Sonshine Families is a group of individuals and families who have come together to serve as foster families and staff, operating as one large extended family. The personal beliefs and practiced value systems of the organization are based on the basic teachings of the Bible. Because He cares, the family also cares.

History
The Respite Program was started as an extension of a full-time residential group home program, and as a result of families requesting year-round respite possibilities for their children and adult family members who attend our summer and winter residential camps. Each of our special needs group homes have designated respite room(s). These rooms can be booked for overnight stays by families in the community.
